Event and Sports Experience Manager

Full Time

Chiswick Park is a 1.8 million sq. ft. business campus managed by Estate Management Company Enjoy-Work, which proposes a regular programme of events and concierge services dedicated to over 10,000 workers from 72 companies. At the heart of the ‘Enjoy-Work’ philosophy is the belief that supporting and engaging individuals first is the key to productive and engaged employees.

Job purpose:

To lead and inspire on all elements of the planning, marketing, and delivery of the Enjoy-Work Events & Sports Programme, delivering world-class events, bringing to life the brand and optimal Guest experience.

Key accountabilities:

✓ End to end creation and development of the event experience, working collaboratively and pragmatically with the Head of Guest Experience and stakeholders across the business, before evaluating and taking learning from each event.

✓ Optimising the overall Guest experience on the campus, ensuring that all events, sports and activities complement the brand, and spotting additional needs and opportunities for Guest experience to be elevated e.g. sponsorship, event day signage, booking process user journeys, etc.

✓ Working with the Marketing team to apply Enjoy-Work brand into the Guest experience. Including briefing in requirements for the events and establishing a streamlined process.

✓ Manage events administration including financial reporting, health and safety documentation, board reports and presentation to stakeholders.

✓ Build relationships – guests/ suppliers etc. – which platform the CPE-W ethos of a sense of community and networking

✓ Manage the events budget effectively in order to maximise its effectiveness, and generate and manage sponsorship agreements (cash sponsorship and product sponsorship) which support and add value to the programme

✓ Other ad-hoc duties as may be required as part of the operations team and/or the overall business

Reporting Relationships:

✓ Reporting to: Head of Guest Experience

✓ Direct Reports: None

✓ Supporting our Head of Guest Experience with all aspects of Guest Experience across the campus

✓ Working alongside the Marketing Team and PR & Community Manager for event promotion

✓ Working alongside the Operations Team and Departmental Team Managers as part of venue management and event delivery

Personal Attributes:

✓ Previous position in Events Management / Operations / Production

✓ Experience in planning and delivery outdoor events

✓ Experience in planning and management of budgets

✓ Passion for events, showing creativity and the inspiration to create something great

✓ Innovatively driven

✓ Unquestionable integrity, discretion, ethical and professional approach to business, commitment and personal credibility

✓ Proactive attitude, strong organisational, project and stakeholder management skills

Personal Skills:

✓ Strong communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal): Ability to communicate complex topics in simple terms, with emphasis on impact. Ability to develop written business content

✓ Strong organisation skills to ensure flawless planning and execution of an event. Ability to focus on the big picture and prioritise while ensuring attention to detail

✓ Be adaptable and flexible to changing requirements of the event and audience. Ability to think ahead, anticipate needs and prioritise accordingly

✓ Creativity and resourcefulness: Ability to develop and execute event plans and engagement campaigns in innovative ways, problem solver

✓ Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture and adjust available solutions

✓ Good analytical skills – Critically analyse data to improve quality of deliverables and proposed solutions. Accuracy and attention to detail required

✓ Confident decision maker and problem solver with a resilient and robust approach

✓ Good IT Skills in all Microsoft Office applications and other project management tools
