Technical Services Manager

Chiswick Park is a 1.8 million sq. ft. business campus managed by Estate Management Company Enjoy-Work, which proposes a regular programme of events and concierge services dedicated to over 10,000 workers from 72 companies. Job purpose:

A key leadership role in ensuring the Technical Services and IT management of Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work is operating efficiently, effectively and safely in line with expected high standards and operational business strategies, working with all departments and external service partners to ensure delivery in line with our overall Mission, Vision, Values and Objectives.

Key accountabilities:

✓ Day to day management of the highest standards of excellence for all Technical, M&E and IT areas in line with the Enjoy-Work Operations

✓ Develop and implement Business strategies across the Technical, M&E and IT infrastructure areas

✓ Contract Management by taking an active lead in managing Service Partner contracts (Guest Engineering Solutions (Technical Services) and supporting additional Service Partner contracts where necessary

o Setting and continual review of the strategic plans in these key areas

o Effective management of associated KPIs and SLAs

✓ Responsibility and Management of all Projects and M&E Services, with the support of the Projects and M&E Manager

✓ Full financial accountability and business continuity for Project, Lifecycle Replacement, Fabric and M&E Repair work within the Buildings and elements of the Estate. Ensuring accurate tracking, and involvement in forecast planning

✓ Influencing sustainable asset management in line with the business strategy. Working with the Sustainability Manager on key areas of influence and impact such as Energy Management

✓ Management and driving forward the IT & Security Solutions strategies across the business

✓ Preparation of presentations for webinars, meetings and reports and assist in writing submission documents for external stakeholder engagement

✓ Lead in the Health & Safety Management of all our Guests, visitors, members of the public and property management staff and service providers across the business. Utilising the guidance and support from the H&S Coordinator

✓ Awareness of industry best practices and exploration of innovations in enhancing services

✓ HR responsibilities in line with people management

✓ On-call support for the Business in relation to Emergency Procedures and Disaster Recovery

✓ Guest Experience – working in collaboration with the Head of Guest Experience by supporting the planning, developing, implementation and delivery of this key focus area for the business including Events & Sports in-line with the business strategy

✓ Other ad-hoc duties as may be required as part of the operations team and/or the overall business

Reporting Relationships:

✓ Reporting to: Operations Director

✓ Direct Reports: Projects and M&E Manager, Guest Engineering Solutions Manager

✓ Working alongside the Operations Team, consisting of Estate & Services Manager, Guest Relations Managers, Sustainability Manager, Operations and H&S Coordinators

✓ Supporting our Head of Guest Experience, Events Experience Manager, Marketing Team and PR & Community Manager

✓ Working alongside our Departmental Team Managers and the wider team

Personal Attributes:

✓ Previous management position in Estate and/or Building Management in a similar environment, with a minimum of 5years experience

✓ Experience, Knowledge and understanding of M&E and related technical services and IT support

✓ IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum, but NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable

✓ Project management experience and Project Management Qualification required

✓ Experience in managing and leading people

✓ Experience in planning and management of budgets

✓ Ability to prioritise within a multi-tasking environment, flexibility and attention to detail

✓ Innovatively driven

✓ Unquestionable integrity, discretion, ethical and professional approach to business, commitment and personal credibility

✓ Proactive attitude, strong organisational, project and stakeholder management skills

✓ Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
