Job purpose: To manage, develop and monitor projects throughout the business, strategic development and implementation/ maintenance of effective management systems and procedures in the delivery and continuity of services to the tenant (guest), while protecting and enhancing landlord assets within the estate.
Contributing to the wider team vision and ethos of the organisation, the ideal candidate will be someone who is commercially minded, passionate, and willing to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Key accountabilities: Technical support to the business in line with the engineering service provision Contract management/support linked with the principle engineering contractor and also outside of their role Management of statutory compliance of all areas, incorporating landlord insurance inspections and external audit and assessment requirements. Working closely with service partners/contractors to resolve any remedials in a timely manner. Management of guest company (tenant) license to alter applications including reviewing of drawings for proposed works. Management of wayleave application processes Act as the point of liaison for and authorisation of fit-out companies Audits/inspections of engineering services, plant and overall operation in line with Chiswick Park Estate Management (CPEM) standards and matrix Leading on standards and procedures for M&E across the Park Availability on-call (out of hours) as required by the CPEM emergency procedures and disaster recovery plan Project management aligned to the annual and strategic business plans, including implementation & reporting
Analysis, review and production (where required) of engineering reports Liaison and relationship management with the Engineering Service Partner (contractor) in conjunction with Technical Services Manager and Operations Director Leading on energy saving for the business in line with the overall CPEM plan Leading on utility management, reporting and analysis Manage and lead on continuous review of the asset management, and building/estate lifecycle business plans to ensure they continue to be sustainable: relevant, current, and financially viable Support on H&S policies, procedures, reviews and meetings Act as point of liaison with head office teams (Revantage leasing team) to support on wider projects Leading by example on service delivery excellence Financial accountability: project & engineering related budgets / support & ownership on other service charge related budgets as required Development and innovation within the area of project management Support and involvement with the wider business as a senior member of the Chiswick Park Estate Management Team Undertake ad hoc duties as requested
Reporting Relationships: Reporting to: Technical Services Manager Direct Reports: N/A Working alongside the Operations Team, consisting of Estate & Services Manager, Building Operations Manager, Guest Relations Manager, Operations and H&S Coordinators Supporting our Head of Guest Experience and Guest Experiences Team Working alongside all our Departmental Team Managers and the wider team Strategic support to/from the Landlord’s Central Technical Operations team
Personal Attributes: M&E experience/knowledge Proven organisational and end-to-end project management skills IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum, but NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable Wider facilities management knowledge PRINCE2 certification or equivalent Experience, knowledge and understanding of MEP and related technical services Experience in planning and management of budgets Ability to prioritise within a multi-tasking environment, flexibility and attention to detail Innovatively driven
