PR & Community Manager

To enhance Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work’s profile in the marketplace by creating and delivering the brand’s external communications and engagement strategy.


  • Lead, manage and deliver the external communications programme, including media relations, PR, awards and conferences/events

  • Plan, manage and deliver a range of high-quality communications projects, campaigns and activities including:

  • Proactive and reactive media enquiries, media releases and statements, briefings and building relationships with journalists, media advice and interview support, crisis communications…

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

  • Support the implementation, development and reporting of the EW ESG strategy and telling the company’s ESG story

  • Drive news in the media, social media and company website

  • Enhance Chiswick Park local community relationships

  • Manage crisis and reputation management communications

  • Link and liaise with leasing teams/agents and support marketing visits

  • The PR & Community Manager works closely with all areas of the business and collaborate with all teams to identify news stories and campaigns but also to make sure that the team is on-board with all messages being communicated externally about the brand.

  • Guest Experience Team – to support events with local contacts and promote some events externally

  • Marketing Manager and Content Manager - to identify marketing channels and roll out external campaigns

  • Guest Relations Managers – to engage with guests and to drive awareness about external activities, draft all key Guest communications

  • Guest Experience Host Team – to drive awareness about some external activities (charity initiatives, etc)

  • People and Culture Manager– to announce new appointments, team wellbeing initiatives, draft team communications

  • Operations – to promote any operational initiatives externally

  • Revantage leasing team and agents (Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield) – to be aware of new deals or leads and help drive awareness accordingly, support marketing visits, review marketing content

  • CEO and Operations Director– to support the ESG strategy and manage brand reputation


  • Develop a media and communications strategy targeting national, international and local media opportunities that you will lead on implementing

  • Create a mid-long term strategy to ensure we are championing partnerships with the local community (businesses/ schools/ charities)

  • Build collaborative relationships with companies on the Park, to maximise press and engagement opportunities around their own flow of news and social media output

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to maintain, improve and build the news and social media output for Enjoy-Work’s internal programme of events and activities

  • Develop and deliver ideas for compelling news, social media and thought leadership content that can engage all levels of audience

  • Identify ad hoc and short-term opportunities to generate online and offline exposure for Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work and, where appropriate, involving companies on the Park too

  • Identify tactics and techniques to develop and strengthen our online and offline positioning

  • Provide support as required to respond to media issues and ensure all communications problems are resolved and rectified

  • Support the leasing team with marketing visits and enquiries

  • Analyse and report back on success of campaigns and media activities


  • Manage the Enjoy-Work press office function in-house– to generate press opportunities and coverage, respond to incoming PR requests

  • Ensure all communication is clearly linked and/or aligned to our business strategy and values

  • Identify opportunities to raise awareness about CPEW at awards and conferences/events in relation to relevant real estate and workplace issues, challenges, opportunities and trend

  • Research, write, and distribute releases, articles and comments to media

  • Work closely with the Content Manager to generate engaging content to populate social media platforms

  • Assist external agency in the creation and delivery of the content across the website

  • Create and deliver monthly external newsletter

  • Ensure content is relevant and engaging and introduce new ways of delivering digital messages

  • Work with the Marketing Manager and Content Manager on image library curation and video content generation

  • Co-ordinate press visits from journalists from national, international and local media, bloggers and other online commentators

  • Support the CEO in developing crisis and issues management messaging protocols

  • Assist in the management of external comms and marketing suppliers for projects


  • Engage proactively in Guest (occupier) event and event management to maximise opportunities for exposure

  • Act as the point of liaison for public affairs/ key stakeholder relationships – e.g. local MP/ Hounslow Chamber of Commerce/ local action groups

  • identify and invite/ host key third party influencers at Enjoy-Work

  • Engage with other competitive, world-class real estate / work campus schemes to keep Chiswick Park relevant, progressive, and industry leading

  • Position and engage with local business partnerships via the ONECARD programme - maximising value, exposure, and publicity for all stakeholders

  • ESG – work closely with CEO and Operations Director to support the ESG strategy and seek ways to drive communication about the ESG strategy, initiatives and achievements

  • Lead key business projects such as AGS from planning to delivery


  • Relevant degree

  • CIPR or CIM accreditation


  • Experience of managing media relations and devising successful PR campaigns

  • A developed news-sense and ability to sell a story

  • Prior commercial real estate experience

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to engage at senior management level

  • Copy-writing/ journalism: published copy

  • Knowledge of:

    • branding principles
    • marketing communications disciplines and how these and the PR / comms function interact with each other
    • key national and international conferences, exhibitions, and seminars
  • Excellent networking and partnership development skills

  • A good understanding of business, industry sectors, and corporate culture

  • Strong collaborative ways of working

  • Project management skills
