Communications and Engagement Manager

Chiswick Park is a 1.8 million sq. ft. business campus managed by Estate Management Company Enjoy-Work, which proposes a regular programme of events and concierge services dedicated to over 10,000 workers from over 55 companies. At the heart of the ‘Enjoy-Work’ philosophy is the belief that supporting and engaging individuals first is the key to productive and engaged employees.

**Job purpose: **

• To lead, manage and inspire on Enjoy-Work’s internal & external communications and promotions, driving engagement and delivering timely, relevant, and innovative communications that bring the brand to life in line with our brand Mission, Vision and Values. This role is also accountable for leading on leasing activities for prospective Guest Companies and other marketing visits. This is a hands-on role, with plenty of variety working across all area’s of the Enjoy-Work business.

Key accountabilities:

STRATEGY

• Lead on the development and implementation of the internal & external communications strategy ensuring the Enjoy-Work brand offering is expressed and communicated in an effective way, working closely with the Content Manager for implementational support

• Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all communications are on brand, relevant and regularly refreshed

• Seek out ways to improve and innovate our communications to enhance our internal Guest experience and external brand awareness

• Lead on the data insights, reporting on usage, success measures, targets and engagement measurements and assessing them for further developments and progression of the brand

• Bring a creative and curious nature to the team in working closely to motivate, guide, and inspire delivery of the strategy

• Champion and ensure cohesive and effective teamwork, both within the brand experience team and across the wider business

• Act as a point of contact and communication for Guest Company marketing key contacts ensuring consistency and unrivalled service

• Act as point of contact for leasing events/visits working with Head of Guest Experience.

CAMPAIGNS & PROGRAMMES

• Inspire wider thinking and innovative techniques to ensure we are truly brand representative on all channels

• Work closely with the Head of Guest Experience and Content Manager to ensure Enjoy-Work marketing and communications are on brand, relevant and regularly refreshed whilst continuously looking at ways to improve the Guest experience

• Work with the Content Manager & Event Experience Manager with the creation of content for promotional emails / e-shots / digital campaigns in alignment with the Guest Experience Programme offering (events, sports, clubs, workshops, concierge services)

• Work with the Operations team and key stakeholders to manage and lead on the effective communication of the Enjoy-Work sustainability strategy

• Lead on the Annual Guest Survey for the business working alongside the Head of Guest Experience

• Work with the operations team to create and deliver an effective retailer marketing campaign

• Supporting the Content Manager and external agency with regards to all EW social media content planning and implementation.

Enjoy-Work APP

• Manage and oversee the day to day running of the Enjoy-Work App ensuring all content is up to date and relevant

• Ensure the App is in good working order, raising tickets, logging and reporting on faults throughout

• Support the Head of Guest Experience with the strategic direction and development of the App and contract management

• Work closely with the App provider to ensure Guest journeys are effective and smooth, and offer ideas to improve the user experience

INNOVATION

• Keep abreast of development in the marketing arena

• Lead on identifying new ideas and opportunities around engaging content, marketing tactics, and technology

• Work closely with the Guest Experience team and wider teams to deliver thoughtful and surprising moments for our guests in line with our brand

GENERAL

• Use data insights to share statistics and results and to inform partnerships and future strategy

• Manage marketing administration including financial reporting, health and safety documentation, board reports and presentation to stakeholders

• Manage the marketing budget, including budget setting, control and forecasting

• Oversee marketing and communications with high level understanding, breathing enthusiasm into the team to ensure marketing activities continue to stay fresh, engaging, and cutting edge in technique where possible/ relevant

• Collaborate with management team in driving our mission, vision, values and objectives throughout the organisation, leading where relevant on new programmes and initiatives to champion engagement in all we do

• Support the CEO, Head of Guest Experience and external agency with regards to implementation of our PR strategy.

• Working with Head of Guest Experience to support on business crisis communications as needed

• Other ad-hoc duties as may be required as part of the Marketing or Guest Experience team and/or the overall business

• Supporting the Content Manager with all aspects of marketing and communications across the campus

• Working alongside the Guest Experience Team for details of our Guest Experience offering

• Working alongside the Operations Team and Departmental Team Managers as part of venue management and brand engagement

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant degree

• CIPR or CIM accreditation

KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5yrs marketing experience

• Brand knowledge and understanding

• Creative and action orientated

• Hands-on experience and style of management

• Prior commercial real estate experience

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills

• Ability to engage at senior management level

• Copy-writing/ journalism: published copy

• Knowledge of:

o branding principles

o marketing communications disciplines

o key national and international conferences, exhibitions, and seminars

• Excellent networking and partnership development skills

• A good understanding of business, industry sectors, and corporate culture

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: c£50,000 per annum + discretionary annual bonus

• 25 days annual leave (Plus bank holidays)

• BUPA healthcare, dental, and travel

• Pension scheme: 8% employer contribution

• Working hours: 08:30 -17:30, Monday – Friday (with flexibility at times for events and initiatives)

Salary: up to £50,000 DOE
