Family Fun at Chiswick Park

Last Friday, more than 700 children took over our Campus for the afternoon during our Family Fun Day event. Between 12pm-5pm, the local community including a host of parents and children enjoyed live music, performances and craft workshops that took place across the whole of Chiswick Park.
Guests brought their children to work alongside local families to make the most of Chiswick Park Island and try some of the activities designed for the day such as pedalos on the lake, donkey rides, Punch & Judy shows and face painting.

The main feature of the event was the sandy beach in the centre of the events plaza, where children spent the afternoon building sandcastles.

‘Family Fun Day is such a great day to show our Guests and the community what we as a team and company are all about. Chiswick Park Island, which is our July beach takeover event, has been very popular with the Guests so it’s only natural that we give the opportunity to our local community to come and enjoy it too. It was fantastic afternoon for kids and adults alike’>

Carly Gibbs, Head of Guest Experience, Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work.

Chiswick Park Island is now in its final week with more sports activities scheduled on the beach from Virgin Active and the last movie shown as part of The Plaza Film Festival on Thursday at 6pm – this will be Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work will open to the public once again on November 7th for its annual fireworks display.
