This Black History Month, we’re coming together as a Community to celebrate culture, creativity, and connection.
On Tuesday the 20th of October, from 12–2pm, Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work, alongside Paramount, SEGA, Foxtons, PR Noir UK, St James and Wilflen Creative, will come together on the Events Plaza for an afternoon dedicated to Black Excellence.
This year’s theme, Honouring Our Communities, reflects the importance of recognising the people and stories that continue to shape the world around us.
With over 102 nationalities represented across Chiswick Park, our Community brings together a wealth of cultures, backgrounds and perspectives.
Creating an environment where people feel included, respected and able to connect is an important part of life on the Park, and this Black History Month, we’re taking the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the richness of Black culture, heritage and its contribution to our Communities.
Throughout the afternoon, you can expect live music and performances from talented creatives, hear from keynote speakers sharing their stories and perspectives, and explore stalls featuring food, products and services, all from Black-owned businesses. The programme offers an opportunity to discover new talent, support independent businesses and engage with a range of voices from across the Black Community.
Through this programme, we aim to create a space for conversation, connection and learning, while recognising the experiences and contributions that continue to shape our communities and the wider world.
The Event is open to everyone at Chiswick Park and beyond, and we welcome you to join us for an afternoon of celebration!
