On Tuesday 2nd April, we had the incredible privilege of welcoming Baroness Floella Benjamin to Chiswick Park for our lunchtime speaker event – and what a powerful session it was.
Baroness Benjamin took us on an unforgettable journey through her life, sharing heartfelt stories of resilience, determination, and kindness. From her early experiences to her work in the House of Lords, every moment of her talk was filled with wisdom, warmth, and purpose.
Her message? We all have the power to make a difference.
She spoke passionately about the importance of uplifting children and young people, and how small acts – whether through kindness, courage, or advocacy – can spark real, lasting change. It was impossible not to walk away feeling moved and motivated.
What truly stood out was her ability to connect on a deeply human level, reminding us that challenges can be overcome, and that standing up for what you believe in can help shape a better world for future generations.
A huge thank you to Baroness Floella Benjamin for sharing her story, her passion, and her unwavering belief in the power of people.
